PRICING: The prices on my website are in £ (pounds sterling) and do not include VAT (Value added tax). The postage prices are disclosed as you add items to your cart. All prices are subject to change at any time and without prior notice.
ONLINE ORDERING: You are responsible to ensure that all information given by you at the time of ordering is correct. The information that you provide must relate to you, the buyer and not a third party.
MULTIPLE ORDERS: I do combine multiple orders and will refund the excess shipping charges. The only time I do not combine orders is if you have ordered ready to ship items in one order and pre-order items in another separate order. The ready to ship items will go ahead and ship unless you instruct us otherwise.
SHIPPING: All orders are dispatched within 48hrs of purchase and more often than not they are dispatched the same/next working day, and are sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery to give you the best value. This usually takes up to 3 working days. I do not aim to profit from postage and packaging costs. I appreciate your understanding.
SOAPS
Not all soaps are created equally. My soaps are handcrafted and hand cut. Weights will vary from bar to bar and batch to batch. That is the nature of a handmade product. Most of my soaps will range from 95-105g. For simplicity, prices are based upon lowest bar weight per batch. Any soap weighing more is merely a bonus for the price paid. Handcrafted soap will continue to evaporate water and will continually lose weight. However, this makes for a finer, longer lasting soap bar despite the weight.
INGREDIENTS
I use high quality oils and often organic oils and butters in my soap recipes. Note ingredients for each product listed to know exactly what is in the product you are purchasing. All soaps contain sodium hydroxide (lye). However, the sodium hydroxide is neutralised in the saponification process. Soap cannot be made without sodium hydroxide. I scent my soaps with fragrance oils or essential oils. Please use caution whenever using a body product containing essential oils. Be informed and know what essential oils may affect your body and medical issues. I use essential oils for scent only. I follow rules for the safe usage of fragrance and essential oils in my recipes. Strength of scent after cure will vary so some soaps will have a lighter or stronger scent than others. I colour my soaps using micas, oxides, pigments, natural herbal colorants, and titanium dioxide which is a naturally occurring whitening agent. Some colourants will ‘bleed’ some of their color. This is normal. I only use biodegradable plastic-free glitter for my products. I also top my soap with natural ingredients on occasion. All toppings typically wash off with the first use. I use various liquids in my soaps. Most often I use coconut milk to keep my products vegan. However, I occasionally use honey, coffee, teas, herbs, spices, pumpkin, and more to make specialty soaps.
